Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. She is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and supporting meaningful personal growth through psychotherapy.
Tara takes an integrative, human-centered approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique experiences, needs, and goals. She believes that every person carries a complex story shaped by relationships, culture, and life experiences, and that healing begins when those stories are explored with compassion and understanding. In therapy, Tara meets clients with gentle curiosity, empathy, and deep respect, creating a safe and supportive space where individuals can reflect, process, and move toward meaningful change.
Her clinical work focuses on helping adolescents and adults navigate a range of emotional and psychological challenges, including grief and loss, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and addiction. Tara supports clients in developing insight, building healthier coping strategies, and reconnecting with their inner strengths so they can move forward with greater clarity and resilience.
Tara believes that therapy is a collaborative and creative process. Rather than positioning herself as the sole expert, she views the therapeutic relationship as a partnership in which therapist and client co-author the healing journey together. Through this collaborative process, Tara helps clients better understand themselves, break free from patterns that no longer serve them, and begin creating the life they have been seeking.
Her work is grounded in the belief that transformation is possible when people feel seen, heard, and supported, and that therapy can be a powerful space for growth, healing, and self-discovery.
